রক্ত দান জীবন দান'.এই উদ্যোগ নিয়ে 2রা ফেব্রুয়ারী দমদম ক্যান্টোমেন্ট সংলগ্ন  এলাকায় নেতাজি  সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসু সেবা প্রতিষ্ঠানের তরফ থেকে আয়োজিত হলো রক্তদান শিবির এবং স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা  অনুষ্ঠান ।।

নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসু সেবা সংস্থান  সুপ্রসিদ্ধ সমাজ সেবা সংস্থান ।
সেখানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত্ ছিলেন তন্ময় ভট্টাচার্য (বিধায়ক), সোনিয়া দে,অরূপ ধর,সোমা ভট্টাচার্য, রতন সোম (কলকাতা পুলিশ আধিকারিক)। ছিলেন প্রখ্যাত অভিনেতা সুপ্রিয় দত্ত ও আর গন্য মান্য ব্যক্তি বর্গ।
উল্লিখিত যে একজন ক্যান্সারের রোগী সুভমিতা সাহা নিজের সঞ্চিত অর্থ দিয়ে এই সংস্থাকে একটি স্ট্রেচার এবং হুইল চেয়ার দান করেন। জানালেন সম্পাদক সুভাষ পাল।

সম্প্রতি  এথিনা বিউটিপার্লারে মেকাপ আর্টিস্ট সুহিরা ব্যানার্জী এথিনা বিউটি পার্লারে ষ্টুডিওতে খ্যাতি সম্পূর্ণ মডেল অভিনেত্রী সংগীতা সিংহাকে নিয়ে,একটি অসাধারণ বাইডাল সুট করে ফেলে ।সুহিরা ব্যানার্জী বেশ কিছু জাতীয় রাজ্যে স্তরে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় নিজে কাজের জন্য অনেক সম্মানিত হয়েছেন 

Launch of 'Alviva 2020 Calendar'

  

 27th January eve at Calcutta Press Club witnessed dollops of glamour, fun and frolic during the colourful launch Ceremony of 'Alviva Calendar 2020'.  The program attracted a host of dignitaries from various walk of the society like social entrepreneur Sabir Ahmed, business tycoon Subir Ghosh, social activists Ashok Gupta & Farooque Maik, designer Arijit Maity, Moonmoon Ghosh and others.

     This unique calendar showcases PLUS SIZE women and fresh talents from Durgapur and Burdwan, the two  mentors of 'ALVIVA' --- Arpita Sengupta and Sangita Sinha. The ladies are portrayed in the calendar, apart from Arpita and Sangita, including Debarita Chatterjee, Mou Midra Biswas, Paromita Chaudhuri, Piyali Pal, Rinka Bal, Sonali Mahapatro, Triparna Chakraborty, Aparna Roy, Anita Roy,  Arpita Ghosh,  Soma Mukherukher, Arit , Shilpi Ghosh Kesh, Sudipta Mukherjee, Mita Sahu, Silpi Chakraborty, Avipsa Dutta, Trisha Ganguly, Papiya Maji, Piyali Biswas Chatterjee, Smritirekha Banerjee, Richa Khanna and Trisha Roy Kesh.

   Film-maker Asish Basak announced that 'Alviva' and 'Hello Kolkata', supported by Sabir Ahmed, will soon make a short film with the concept of this 'ALVIVA' Calendar shoot.

 “Dial ‘M’ for ‘M’-Factor” - a book by Asish Basak was released on 13th January eve at K. G. Memorial Hall by representative members of all communities. In the times of NRC and CAA, this is more of an introspection by the author, who has tried for a fine balance, set precariously in view of the ongoing upheaval and fractious current scenario in our country.  The book brings forth the trials and tribulations faced by millions of Muslims residing in India, considered the majority of the ‘Minority Sector’ in the secularist federal democratic state of India. 

     The tremors of resentment had begun @ 640 AD when the Muslims came hurtling down to Indian sub-continent with sword on one hand and Qur’an on the other.  In the midst of this onslaught of time-wrought changes, the vibrancy of the masses have proved that this land of India does not belong to ‘Rama’ or ‘Rahim’; it belongs to ‘Ramu bhai’ or ‘Rahman chacha’- the quintessential COMMON MAN, the biggest and brightest of all the 'M'-Factors.
         “Dial ‘M’ for ‘M’-Factor” by Asish Basak also highlights other ‘M’-Factors- the Media, De-Monetisation, political ‘Mammoths’ – Modi-ji and Mamata-di. But above all, it highlights the Common Man’s intent to live on, his intense desire and will to survive.

 'Hello Kolkata Style Icon 2019' 

 'Hello Kolkata Style Icon 2019' came to a fitting conclusion on 28th Dec. eve at Calcutta Press Club. This is a Talent Hunt initiative that recognizes and rewards an individual for his/her dedication, perseverance and outstanding contribution for holistic development of our society, informed Asish Basak, Editor-Director, 'Hello Kolkata' (3D News, Events and Films).

     'Hello Kolkata STYLE ICON 2019' winners are Sangita Sinha (HK Glam ICON), Jayashree Khara (HK Youth Icon), Boby Mondal (HK Screen Icon) and Dipa Sharma (HK Make-Over Icon).

    Special awards were presented to child artist Shilpi Naru, eminent video editor Nandita Mandal, tabla player Dibyendu Pal, socialites Farooque Malik, Suchismita Roychowdhury, Sk. Raja and Sam Kapoor. 

      Four very talented and promising actors Sagar Thapa, Divya Mitra, Manish De and Tanima Singha Roy were also awarded with 'Hello Kolkata Most Promising Entertainer Award', for their wonderful role in 'PLAYER Season 1'.

    The program also witnessed felicitation of a host of dignitaries like Pt. Hello Kolkata STYLE ICON 2019

'Hello Kolkata STYLE ICON 2019' -- an ALL-Inclusive Talent Hunt (to promote the differently-abled) witnessed a Grand Final on 12 Dec. eve at Saturday Club, Calcutta.

'Hello Kolkata STYLE ICON' was greatly supported by Associate Partner- SANGBEDAN (a social welfare organization founded by Samit Saha to help the disability-affected individuals) and ROSEC (Rotary Club Of Calcutta South East).

'Hello Kolkata STYLE ICON 2019' has support from IDEF (Indian Disabled Entrepreneurs Forum, formed by Sumit Agarwal), Daffodil Incorporate (MD - Rudra Sen), Bani's Herbal (MD- Bani Banerjee), 'Aalo' (Founder - Indrani Ganguly), KGN Group (MD- Sk.
